Privacy, Cookies & Legal

How ASINLYTICS collects, uses and protects your information — written to align with the EU/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws (including California’s CCPA/CPRA). Last updated: 6 July 2026.

Template notice: These policies are provided as a professional starting point and do not constitute legal advice. Please have them reviewed by a qualified legal professional and adapt the company/controller details before publishing.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data ASINLYTICS (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. It applies to visitors to this website and to people who contact us or request our services.

Data controller: ASINLYTICS. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@asinlytics.com. (Add your registered business name, address and, where required, your EU/UK representative or Data Protection Officer.)

1. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is needed to keep the site secure. Specifically:

We do not run advertising networks, behavioural tracking, or analytics profiling on this site, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

2. How and why we use your information (legal bases)

Under the EU/UK GDPR we rely on the following legal bases:

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers (“processors”) that help us operate the site and respond to you:

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

4. International transfers

Some of the providers above may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data leaves the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).

6. How we protect it

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and spam protection — to guard against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission is ever 100% secure, but we take your data seriously.

Your GDPR / UK GDPR Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights over your personal data:

To exercise any of these, email info@asinlytics.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (for example, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or your EU member-state Data Protection Authority).

US State Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a resident of California or another US state with a privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut or Utah), you have specific rights over your personal information.

Your rights

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

ASINLYTICS does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of — but if this ever changes, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism here. To make any privacy request, email info@asinlytics.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.

Categories collected (CCPA): identifiers (name, email), commercial/business information (company, website, Amazon account details you provide) and the content of your message. We collect these directly from you to respond to your enquiry and provide services. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics.

You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask you to verify your identity before we act.

Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. This website is deliberately light on cookies — we use only essential cookies and do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.

Cookies and similar technologies we use

Third-party requests

When the page loads, your browser also requests fonts from Google Fonts and the security widget from Cloudflare. These providers may receive your IP address as a normal part of delivering that content. If you prefer to avoid this entirely, the site owner can self-host fonts — ask us and we can enable that.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because our cookies are essential, disabling them may prevent the contact forms or spam check from working correctly.
